The Moravian College women's soccer team fell to Rowan University Wednesday evening, 5-1, in non-conference action. Sophomore goalkeeper Genevieve Chaleff tallied eight saves in the contest.

The Profs put the Greyhounds up, 1-0, early in the game when they scored an own goal just two minutes in. Rowan would tie the game up in the 30th minute with a breakaway goal from sophomore midfielder Dyna Sakalsky. Senior midfielder Evynn Wright for Rowan would give them a 2-1 lead five minutes later, and they would take that into the half.

Rowan would add three more goals in the second half, two from junior midfielder Nina Fragoso and one from junior forward Morgan Muracco, to win 5-1.

The Greyhounds return home this Saturday, October 8th when they take on Landmark Conference rival Juniata College at the HUB Quad. The match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
