LEBANON, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's cross country squad finished as the runner-up in the Lebanon Valley College Invitational Saturday at Union Canal Tunnel Park, the site of the 2024 Landmark Conference Championships in November.
How It Happened
- The Blue & Grey scored 84 points, finishing behind The University of Scranton that took first place with 64 points
- Junior Tara Smurla finished second of 197 runners with a time of 18:22.7 on the 5,000-meter course while junior Elena Bocchetti was 16th in 19:31.3
- Senior Rachael Goodman took 21st in a time of 19:44.9 while senior Amber Poniktera placed 25th in 19:55.3 and sophomore Alexis Hockenberry finished 29th at 20:07.8 to round out the Greyhounds top five runners
- Junior Meghan Myers was 33rd in the race in a time of 20:13.3 while sophomore Kayla O'Neil took 37th in 20:16.6 and senior Lexi Rushatz finished 39th at 20:20.2
- Junior Sarah Rice placed 43rd in a time of 20:22.3 while sophomore Alyssa Hockenberry was 47th in 20:36.6
