DANBURY, Conn. --- Moravian College senior forward Brandon McGuire was named to the 2017 ECAC Division III Metro All-Star First Team.

He shot 65.5 percent (220-of-336) from the floor and 42.5 percent (31-of-73) beyond the three-point line this year. McGuire, who was selected to the Lehigh Valley Small College Men's Basketball Team of the Year, finished his career ranked seventh in school history with 1,348 points, fourth in rebounds with 768 tied for fourth in blocked shots with 63 and tied for ninth in games played with 100.

"This is another great honor for Brandon and the program," stated second-year Head Coach Justin Potts. "Brandon had a great year, which is evident by his numbers, and he provided great leadership all season. I'm proud of Brandon's commitment to Moravian Basketball and it is great to see him rewarded with another honor."

Moravian tied the school record this season with 19 wins as part of a 19-9 season, and the Greyhounds reached the postseason for the first time in four years with the program's third trip to the Landmark Conference Tournament and third ECAC Division III Tournament appearance. Potts guided Moravian to the program's first postseason win since 1990 with a victory in the Landmark Conference Semifinals and led the team to its first outright conference title game since 1948.
