Moravian Men Fall to Muhlenberg in 2018 Home Opener on John Makuvek Field

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's lacrosse team fell to rival Muhlenberg College, 16-2, in the Greyhounds' 2018 home opener at John Makuvek Field Saturday afternoon.

Junior attack James Carroll and sophomore attack Cade Siddron each scored goals for the Hounds. Sophomore long stick midfielder Jimmy Schicke had three ground balls and was 3-for-6 on face-offs while junior attack Mark Laratta had three caused turnovers and three ground balls. Junior midfielder Rick Guerra was 5-for-14 on face-offs.

Moravian used three goals in the match with junior Kurt Dick making six saves in 20 minutes of action as the starter. Sophomore MacLean Lincoln made four saves in 22 minutes while freshman Will Dadouris had two stops in eight minutes of play.

Siddron gave the Greyhounds a 1-0 lead three minutes into play but the Mules would lead 5-1 after 15 minutes of action and 8-1 at the intermission.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Wednesday, March 21 in a non-conference match versus Immaculata University beginning at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
