MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. ---The Moravian College women's basketball team has received votes in the for the third straight week and is just outside of the Top 25 teams in the country in the third regular season D3hoops.com Top 25 poll released late Monday night.
The Greyhounds, who are 8-0 and 2-0 in Landmark Conference action, received 54 points, two points shy of the 25th ranked squad from Louisiana College, and Moravian is first of 21 teams receiving votes outside of the top 25. Moravian is one of three teams from the Landmark Conference receiving national recognition with The Catholic University of America receiving 30 points and the University of Scranton receiving one vote after being ranked 21st last week.
Moravian will return to action on Sunday, December 16th in a non-conference game at rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 2:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall in Allentown.
