O'Rourke Named Landmark Player of the Week

TOWSON, Md. – Junior guard Katie O'Rourke (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra HS) of the Moravian College women's basketball team has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

O'Rourke led the Greyhounds to victory over rival Muhlenberg College, 64-60, behind her career-high 23 point effort. She also added eight rebounds, four steals and three assists as Moravian improved to 9-0 for the first time in school history.

On the season, O'Rourke is averaging 14.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game to go with her 44 assists and 31 steals.

The Greyhounds return to the court on Monday, December 31st as they travel to Centenary (N.J.) College. The contest is scheduled for 1 p.m.
