BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior defender Diana Feldmann (York, PA/Central York HS) of the Moravian College women's soccer team was named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District IV Women's Soccer First Team for the second straight year.
By making the All-District ballot, Feldmann is now forwarded onto the national ballot to try for Capital One Academic All-American®, which will be announced Tuesday, November 29th. To be eligible for Capital One Academic All-America® accolades, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.30 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior or senior and be a starter or significant reserve.
In Feldmann's four years at Moravian, she has played in 79 games and tallied four goals and four assists. She was named to the Landmark Conference First Team in 2009 and Second Team in 2010, the Landmark Conference All-Academic Team and Landmark Conference Honor Roll in 2009 and 2010.
The Greyhounds recently wrapped up their season in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference Tournament. They were 6-11-2 overall.
