Four Women's Soccer Players Named to Landmark All-Conference Teams

MADISON, N.J. – Four Moravian College women's soccer players have been named to the 2011 Landmark All-Conference Teams announced Tuesday while senior defender Diana Feldmann (York, PA/Central York) was named to the First Team. Senior forward Arielle Caldas (Cherry Hills, NJ/Cherry Hill West), junior defender Eileen Black (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville), and freshman midfielder Kirsten Schall (Tinton Falls, NJ/Saint Rose) were named to the Second Team.

For Feldmann, this year her third straight year being named to the All-Conference Team (First Team - 2009, Second Team - 2010). Feldmann has been the foundation of the Greyhound defense since her freshman year, playing in and starting all 79 matches, and rarely coming off the field. This season she has one goal, and she has four goals and four assists in her career.

Black has also been named to the All-Conference Team her previous two years (Second Team - 2009, First Team - 2010). Black netted four goals this year while starting all 19 games for the Moravian. In her career she has played 56 games, and scored ten goals and tallied two assists.

Caldas, who was named Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year in 2008, led the Greyhounds with 11 points off of 4 goals and three assists. She is fourth all-time in the Moravian record books in goals scored (30) and points (69).

Schall played the second half of the season, starting 11 games for the Greyhounds. She tallied one assist on the year.

Moravian finished up its season after falling in the Landmark Conference semifinals to top seed The University of Scranton. The Greyhounds went 6-11-2 overall and 2-3-1 in Conference play.
