Women's Soccer Slips to 7th in Latest NSCAA Regional Rankings

KANSAS CITY, KS --- The Moravian College women's soccer team slipped two spots to seventh in the third National Soccer Coaches Association of America/addidas Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings of the 2011 season released Tuesday.

The Greyhounds, who are 3-2-1 overall on the season, tied now tenth ranked Delaware Valley College, 1-1 last week and fell to Misericordia University, 3-0. Moravian was ranked fifth last week after being tenth in the initial poll.

The Greyhounds have one match remaining this season against teams ranked in the region including at #8 The University of Scranton on October 19th. The squad dropped a 4-0 decision to ninth-ranked Lebanon Valley College on September 19th.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 21st in a non-conference match at Elizabethtown College at 7:00 p.m.
