Freshman forward/midfielder Quanie Lightner snapped a 1-1 tie in the 65th minute to lead the Moravian College women's soccer team to a 2-1 come-from-behind non-conference win at Ursinus College Wednesday evening.
Ursinus freshman midfielder/forward Alexis Haug broke a scoreless tie in the 47th minutes when she scored in the left corner of the next from just outside the ten-yard marker off of a pass from senior forward/defender Alex Shivers.
Greyhound sophomore midfielder/forward Taylor DiSora tied the match in the 63rd minute with an unassisted goal to the lower right corner of the net, her first of the season. Lightner scored 1:49 later off of a pass from senior forward Arielle Caldas as as she scored from the left hash into the right corner of the net. It is Lightner's second game-winning goal of the season.
Ursinus had a 15-10 edge in shots in the contest while both teams had three corner kicks. Moravian sophomore goalie Genevieve Chaleff had eight saves while sophomore keeper Kara DiJoseph had five saves for the Bears.
