TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior Aaron Flyte has been named the Landmark Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for his performance last week.

Flyte did not an allow a run while giving up four hits and a walk to go with four strikeouts over 10 innings with two appearances last week. Flyte tossed the first complete game of his career in a 5-0 win versus Drew University, allowing just three hits and a walk while striking out four batters. He pitched the final inning of the last game of the Landmark Conference series at Wilkes University, giving up just one hit.

"We got to see Aaron perform at the level he is capable of on the mound," stated Head Coach Douglas Coe. "He was able to pitch effectively on both sides of the plate and keep the hitters off balance. It was a total team game led by Aaron's performance on the mound."

The Hounds, who are 7-10 on the season, are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, March 27 when the squad travels to Elizabethtown College for a Landmark Conference contest beginning at 3:00 p.m.
