TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University freshman Davin Glynn has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Glynn won the 200-meter freestyle in 2:31.57, and he also took first in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:06.08 as the Greyhounds won their first-ever dual meet in their inaugural season, defeating Juniata College 52-44. Glynn was the runner-up in the 100-meter breaststroke in a time of 1:32.27.

"We are thrilled for Davin to receive Athlete of the Week recognition for his contribution to our history making initial team win in our inaugural year," stated Head Men's and Women's Swimming Coach Mary Ellen Wydan. "Davin has a bright future in our program, demonstrating his versatility by stepping up to win two events, the 200-meter freestyle and the 100-meter butterfly, and taking second in the 100-meter breaststroke. We look forward to Davin's development over the rest of the swimming season and his opportunities to swim his prime events at the upcoming Cougar Splash Invitational. This recognition is another of the many "firsts" in our team history this season, and we couldn't be more excited for Davin."

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on December 3-4 at the Cougar Splash Invitational hosted by Misericordia University with the first of three sessions beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3.
