Greyhounds Set to Battle Gettysburg on Saturday, November 2 at Rocco Calvo Field

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football team welcomes Gettysburg College to Rocco Calvo Field this Saturday for the middle contest of a three-game Centennial Conference homestand. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

The Greyhounds are coming off of a 52-42 win last week versus Franklin & Marshall College that saw Moravian gain 483 yards on offense, the highest total for the Greyhounds since a 500-yard game at McDaniel College back in 2008.

Freshman running back Chris Negron had a career high 218 yards on the ground, the sixth highest by a freshman in Centennial Conference history. Senior quarterback Robbie Moyer also ran for 134 yards on the ground to tie the conference record for quarterbacks with his fourth 100-yard game of the season.

The Greyhounds' defense wasn't to be outdone, forcing five turnovers including four in the first half. Sophomore defensive back Anthony Orlando returned a fumble 45 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter, the first time since 2007 that Moravian had scored on a fumble return.
