Moyer Named to Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team

LANCASTER, Pa. --- Senior quarterback Robbie Moyer of the Moravian College football team has been named to the 2013 Centennial Conference Fall All-Sportsmanship Team.

The All-Sportsmanship Team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport and is selected by the players and coaches from their respective teams. A total of 72 student-athletes were named to the Fall All-Sportsmanship Team.

Moyer started all 10 games for the Greyhounds this fall. He completed 121-of-225 passes for 1,293 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Moyer had team-highs of 193 rushing attempts and eight rushing touchdowns while picking up 799 yards on the ground. Moyer set a Centennial Conference record this fall for quarterbacks with five 100-yard rushing games. In his final career game, Moyer punted out of the shotgun four times for an average of 42.5 yards, a long of 55 yards and one inside the 20-yard line.

"Robbie is a great competitor who strives for excellence in everything that he does," stated Head Coach Jeff Pukszyn. "He represents the College and the Moravian Football family in a first-class manner. The sportsmanship award is well deserved."

Moyer played in 20 career games with 16 starts. He completed his career as the 23rd player in school history to rush for over 1,000 yards, becoming the first Greyhound quarterback to join the group as he ran for 1,041 yards and 10 touchdowns on 263 rushing attempts in his career. Moyer completed 167-of-336 passes for 1,643 yards with 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in his career.
