Orlando's Fumble Return for TD Selected as Centennial Conference Play of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. --- Moravian College sophomore defensive back Anthony Orlando's 45-yard fumble return touchdown run late in the second quarter versus Franklin & Marshall College last Saturday at Rocco Calvo Field has been voted as this week's Centennial Conference Play of the Week.

The touchdown was Orlando's first of his career at Moravian, and gave the Greyhounds a 38-7 lead with just 1:58 on the clock before halftime. Orlando's score was the middle of three touchdowns that Moravian scored in the final 2:43 of the first half to take a 38-14 lead into the locker room. The score also helped the Greyhounds scored more than 50 points for the first time since October 28, 2000.

Orlando finished the game with a team-high 12 tackles that included six solo stops and one tackle for loss to go with his fumble recovery.

The Centennial Conference started honoring a Play of the Week this fall with the plays nominated by the schools and voted on by fans on the Centennial Conference website to select the winner. This week, Orlando's touchdown run received 126 votes and run by Gettysburg College's Tommy LeNoir by 34 votes.
