Hounds Run at Dickinson Long/Short Invitational

NEWVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country team got back to action Saturday at the Dickinson College Long/Short Invitational run at Big Spring High School after a three week break in the schedule.

Senior Dillon Farrell had the men's top time in the short 4,000-meter course, placing fourth in a time of 12:01.25.

On the long 8,000-meter course where the Greyhounds placed 17th of 36 squads with 172 points, it was senior Alec Duncan turning in the best time of 27:21.77, which was good enough for 39th place. Junior Jeremy Rigotti finished 79th for the Greyhounds in 28:39.29, and he was followed by sophomore Cory Taggert in 81st with a time of 28:40.14, freshman Robert Cahill in 85th place in 28:41.85 and freshman Josh Toth at 88th in 28:48.58.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 4 at the 41st Annual Brooks Paul Short Run at Lehigh University.
