Schall Named Corvias ECAC South Co-Player of the Week

CENTERVILLE, Mass – The accolades keep rolling in for Moravian College women's soccer star Kirsten Schall, whose two-goal, three-assist performance last week caught the eye of multiple governing bodies.

Today, the junior forward was named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 15. Schall had already won her second consecutive Landmark Offensive Player of the Week award, in addition to being ranked nationally in total points, goals and assists. Her five assists this season rank fourth in NCAA Division III.

Schall's performance helped the Greyhounds (3-3) to a perfect 2-0 record this past week with shutout victories over Neumann University on Tuesday and Centenary (N.J.) College on Saturday.

She had two goals and an assist in a 5-0 win over Neumann, including the game-winner in the 13th minute. Her impeccable corner kicks were on display in a 3-0 win over Centenary, when she added two assists by finding her Moravian teammates from the flag.

Schall looks to add to her offensive totals in a match this afternoon at Elizabethtown College at 4:30 p.m. before heading south to Delaware Valley College for a Saturday matchup at noon.
