Kornmann Makes All-Conference for Third Straight Year

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College junior middle blocker Taylor Kornmann has earned a spot in the Landmark All-Conference Women's Volleyball Second Team for a third straight season.

Kornmann tallied 324 kills, 64 blocks and a .211 hitting percentage this past fall. She also improved on the defensive side of the ball from the past two seasons adding 122 digs, 30 service aces and 10 assists for the team. Kornmann was named the Landmark Conference Player of the Week after the final week of the regular season on November 2nd.

"I'm so pleased that the Landmark coaches recognized Taylor as one of the top middle hitters in the conference this year," stated Head Coach Shelley Bauder. "TK did a great job of improving her play during the second half of the season and the coaching staff and her teammates are very proud of her."

In her three seasons with the Blue and Grey, Kornmann has recorded 1,014 kills, which is ranked 10th in school history, and 228 blocks, which ranks ninth in the Moravian record book, in 366 sets over 101 matches. She also has 190 digs, 27 assists, 37 service aces and a .256 hitting percentage in her career, which puts her eighth in the school record book.

The Greyhounds completed the 2015 season with an 18-15 mark.
