LANCASTER, Pa. --- Senior defensive back Travis King (Wilmington, Del./Concord HS) and sophomore quarterback Jimmy Lahue (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall HS) of the Moravian College football team have been named to the Centennial Conference Weekly Honor Roll for their performances in the Greyhounds' 21-7 victory over McDaniel College Saturday.
King led the Moravian defense with eight tackles including six solo stops in the victory, and he also returned two punts for 27 yards with a long return of 17 yards.
Lahue completed 14-of-22 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown, which came on a 44-yard Hail Mary pass with seven seconds left in the first half. He then connected on a two-point conversion to put the Greyhounds up 21-7 just before intermission. Lahue had a long carry on nine yards in the game, and he was sacked twice.
Moravian will return to action on Saturday, September 15th when the squad makes its first road trip of the season for a Centennial Conference game at Johns Hopkins University. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. at Homewood Field in Baltimore.
