King Named to Centennial Conference Weekly Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. --- Senior defensive back Travis King (Wilmington, Del./Concord HS) of the Moravian College football team has been named to the Centennial Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his performances in the Greyhounds' game at Johns Hopkins University Saturday.

King scored a touchdown on a 45-yard interception return in Moravian's 49-15 loss to Johns Hopkins University shortly after leaving the field with an injury on a tackle.  It was King's second career pick-six with the other coming on a 30-yard return at Juniata College in 2010.  He also had a forced fumble and added eight tackles with six solo stops.  King broke the Moravian school record with his 54th career kickoff return in the first half, and he finished with three kickoff returns for 55 yards and two punt returns for three yards.

Moravian will return to action on Saturday, September 22nd when the squad hosts Dickinson College in a Centennial Conference game.  Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field in Moravian's Annual Family Day game.
