Football Lands 9 Student-Athletes on the Centennial Fall Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Moravian College football team had nine student-athletes named to the Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll for the 2012 season.

To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student must participate in at least 50 percent of contests, be a sophomore or higher in class standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher.

The Greyhounds had four seniors on the Academic Honor Roll led by defensive back and All-Centennial First Team selection Travis King, running back C.J. Billera, linebacker Luke Trexler and linebacker Jake Hildebrand. Two juniors earned the honor in offensive lineman Julian DiGiacomo and wide receiver Vinny Reed. Three sophomores were named to the Academic Honor Roll, linebacker Richard Kugel, long-snapper/linebacker Gene Molisso and defensive back Rick Sinnig.

The Greyhounds finished 2-8 overall with a 2-7 mark in the Centennial Conference.
