Two Football Players Ranked in Latest NCAA DIII Stats

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Two players on the Moravian College football team are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III football statistics released Monday.

Senior defensive back Travis King is tied for 14th in the nation in forced fumbles at 0.67 per game. Sophomore defensive back Rick Sinnig is tied for 42nd in the country in interceptions with an average of 0.67 per game.

As a team, the Greyhounds are 43rd in the country in pass defense, allowing just 144.3 yards per game. The squad is 27th in fourth down conversions at 75.0 percent (three-for-four), and Moravian is tied for 36th in turnover margin with a +1.33 after forcing eight turnovers and only committing four miscues so far this season.

Moravian returns to the field on Saturday, September 22nd as they host Centennial Conference foe Dickinson College. It will be Family Day at Rocco Calvo Field as the game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
