LANCASTER, Pa. --- Senior wide receiver Albie Moran (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg HS) of the Moravian College football team has been named to the Centennial Conference Weekly Football Honor Roll for his performance Saturday in Moravian's 42-20 loss at Gettysburg College.
Moran, who returned to the lineup after missing six quarters due to an injury, caught five passes for a career high 123 yards including a 69-yard touchdown pass, a career long reception. On the touchdown, Moran caught a short pass on a blitz, broke a tackle and raced down the right side line for the score, which cut Gettysburg's lead to 14-7 just under seven minutes into the game.
Moravian will play its final road game of season on Saturday, November 3rd when the squad travels to Knox Stadium in Huntingdon to take on Juniata College in a Centennial Conference game kicking off at 12:00 p.m.
