McGorry Named Greyhounds'  Offensive Coordinator

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football coaching staff has added Tim McGorry as its offensive coordinator as McGorry returns to the staff after four years.

"Coach McGorry has been a successful QB coach for over 10 years and is an up and coming mind as an offensive coordinator," stated Greyhound head coach Jeff Pukszyn. "He brings with him an up-tempo style of offense that we want to become known for here at Moravian, as well as strong local ties that will be a great asset in recruiting the talent in the Leigh Valley. The staff and the players are all extremely excited to have Coach McGorry back in Bethlehem as a Greyhound."

McGorry, who is joining Moravian's staff as a full-time coach, was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Parkland High School during the 2012 season after serving for three years as a the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Allentown Central Catholic High School, helping the Vikings to the 2010 PIAA AAA state title.

McGorry coached at Moravian during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, working with the outside linebackers in his first year and the quarterbacks in his second season. Prior to his first stint at Moravian, McGorry spent seven years working as an assistant coach at Salisbury High School, Allentown Central Catholic and Parkville (Md.) High School.

"I am looking forward to being a part of the Greyhound football family again," McGorry said.

McGorry has a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational management with a concentration in education for Ashford University. He was working as the Associate Director at LifePath in Bethlehem prior to joining the Greyhound staff.
