TOWSON, Md. --- Three Moravian University men's golfers have earned spot on the 2022 Landmark Men's Golf All-Conference Teams with freshman TJ Bohl garnering a spot on the First Team in addition to being named as the Rookie of the Year while senior Will Breslin and graduate student Thomas Lakata making the Second Team.

The trio helped the Greyhounds to a fourth-place finish at the 2022 Landmark Conference Championships on April 15-16 at the Woodholme Country Club in Pikesville, Maryland. The top six individual finishers were named to the All-Conference First Team while those finishing seventh through twelfth were named to the Second Team.

Bohl finished in a tie for second at the tournament with a two-day score of 157. His final round of two-over par 75 was the second lowest round of the tournament. As the lowest scoring freshman in the tournament, Bohl garnered Rookie of the Year honors.

"TJ has had a really good freshman season," commented Head Coach Kevin Edwards. "He had a very solid second round to earn First Team honors and Rookie of the Year. He will be a key player on next year's team with us losing three players to graduation this year."

Lakata was eighth in the field with a 36-hole score of 162 as he earned All-Conference Second Team honors for the fourth time in his career. Lakata tied for 12th in 2021, was ninth in 2020 and placed tenth in the inaugural Landmark Conference Championship in 2018.

"Thomas made Second Team for the fourth time showing how consistent a player he has been over his career," noted Edwards.

Breslin earned his first All-Conference honor as he tied for ninth last week with a tournament score of 163. Brelin recorded an eagle in his final round, one of three eagles on the day and one of the five recorded in the tournament by the 40 golfers.

"Will had a really solid back nine 1 under on his second round to move into the top 10 to earn Second Team honors," Edwards said.

Moravian is scheduled to complete its season at the Elizabethtown College Invitational on Thursday, April 21 at the Hershey Country Club East Course.
