SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's indoor track & field team competed for the second time this weekend, participating in the non-scoring Susquehanna University Invitational Sunday. The Greyhounds had one event winner with junior Travis King capturing the triple jump with a leap of 13.45 meters (44 feet, 1 ½ inches).
Sophomore Kristopher Joint finished as the runner-up in the triple jump at 12.93 meters (42 feet, 5 ¼ inches), and he also placed fifth in the high jump, clearing 1.68 meters (five feet, six inches), and eighth in the preliminaries of the 60-meter dash in 7.58 seconds. Freshman Chris Ossont was eighth in the long jump at 5.57 meters (18 feet, 3 ¼ inches), and he took fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.16 meters (39 feet, 10 ¾ inches).
Sophomore Timothy Lorah placed sixth in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 12.12 meters (39 feet, 9 ¼ inches), and he took eighth in the shot put with a distance of 12.36 meters (40 feet, 6 ¾ inches).
On the track, freshman Mike Hofmann finished seventh in the 60-meter hurdle preliminaries in 11.03 seconds while freshman Travis Dorsa took ninth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.38 seconds.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action back in Selinsgrove at the Susquehanna Indoor Open on Friday, February 17 starting at 4:00 p.m. That will be the final tune-up for the Greyhounds before the 2012 Landmark Conference Championships, also hosted by Susquehanna, on Saturday, February 25.
