HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team fell to host Juniata College, 7-2, in the 2016 Landmark Conference opener for both squads on Saturday.
The Greyhounds, who are 4-4 overall and 0-1 in Landmark Conference action, trailed 2-1 after doubles action with the tandem of junior Brittney Eady and sophomore Skylar Oliwa earning a 9-7 victory at first doubles.
Senior Courtnie Lambert posted a straight sets win (6-4, 7-5) at third singles for Moravian's other point. Eady forced a decisive set in her first singles match, falling in a tiebreaker in the third set.
The Hounds are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, March 30 in a Landmark Conference match versus Drew University set to begin at 4:00 p.m. at Hoffman Courts in Bethlehem.
