Hounds Capture Third Consecutive Landmark Conference Win at Susquehanna

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team captured its third consecutive Landmark Conference victory with an 8-1 triumph at Susquehanna University Saturday.

The Hounds, now 7-4 overall and 3-1 in Landmark Conference action, had a 2-1 lead after doubles. Junior Brittney Eady and sophomore Skylar Oliwa posted an 8-2 win at first doubles whiles senior Courtnie Lambert and sophomore Caitlin Adams earned an 8-3 victory at third doubles.

The Blue and Grey swept the singles action, taking five of the six contests in straight sets including wins by Eady at first singles, Oliwa at second singles, Lambert in third singles, Adams at fourth singles and junior Aisling Doyle at fifth singles. Sophomore Grace Bailly won in three sets at sixth singles.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Sunday, April 17 in another Landmark Conference match at The University of Scranton beginning at 1:00 p.m.
