Greyhounds Take 4th at Muhlenberg Invitational

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team placed fourth of 17 teams at the Muhlenberg College Invitational Monday at the Lehigh Country Club.

The Greyhounds finished with a team score of 318, eight strokes behind tournament champion Rutgers-Camden. Moravian also trailed Franklin & Marshall College by five strokes and DeSales University by four strokes.

Sophomore Evan Dickinson paced the Greyhounds with a six-over-par 76 on the par 70 course to finish in a tie for third with three other golfers in the field of 85 competitors. Freshman Aaron Brown turned in a round of 79 to tie for 15th while sophomore Jim Maru was tied for 17th with an 80. Freshman Dan Leppert carded an 83 for Moravian to tie for 36th while sophomore James Lobb was tied for 38th with an 84.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, October 3 at the Elizabethtown College Fall Blue Jay Classic at the Hershey Links Golf Club beginning at 12:00 p.m.
