HILTON HEAD, S.C. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team posted a 6-3 victory over Randolph (Va.) College Monday afternoon at the Spring TennisFest in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The Hounds, now 3-3 on the year, had a 2-1 lead after doubles action competed. The duo of sophomores Mason Hudnall and Sean Kearns opened the match with an 8-0 sweep at third doubles while the tandem of senior Isaac Schefer and freshman Daniel Salimnejad earned a 8-5 victory at first doubles for the 2-1 edge.

Kearns would be the first off the courts in singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at sixth singles while Hudnall earned a 6-2, 7-5 win at fourth singles to give Moravian a 4-1 lead. Randolph took the next two matches to finish to pull within a point at 4-3 before Salimnejad won a three-set contest at second singles to secure the win. Freshman Neil Guarino finished off the afternoon with a 6-2, 6-4 win at fifth singles.

The Greyhounds will finish their trip to the Spring TennisFest in Hilton Head on Wednesday, March 6 when the Blue and Grey face Penn State Behrend at 4:00 p.m.
