INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Moravian College football team has three players ranked in the latest NCAA Division III statistics released on Tuesday.
Senior defensive lineman Allen Petros (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) is tied for second in the country in tackles for a loss with 2.50 per game. Petros is only .06 away from leading the country, and he has 20.5 tackles for a loss in 2011. Petros is also tied for 27th in sacks with .88 per game, he has 7.5 sacks this season. Petros set the career tackles for a loss record earlier this year and now has 62, and he is only five sacks away from setting the career sack record.
Junior defensive back Rees Judge (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) is tied for 34th in interceptions at .50 per game. Judge has four interceptions in eight games.
Junior wide receiver Rocco Del Priore (Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh) is 53rd in kickoff returns average at 23.80 yards per return. Del Priore has 15 returns for 357 yards and a long of 54.
The Greyhounds host conference foe Juniata College for senior day this Saturday, November 5th at Rocco Calvo Field. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. and is Moravian's final home game of the 2011 season.
