Three Footbal Players Ranked in Latest NCAA Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Moravian College football team has three players ranked in the latest NCAA Division III statistics released on Tuesday.

Senior defensive lineman Allen Petros (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) is tied for second in the country in tackles for a loss with 2.36 per game. Petros is only .22 away from leading the country, and he has 22 tackles for a loss in 2011. Petros is also tied for 15th in sacks with .94 per game, he has nine sacks this season. Petros set the career tackles for a loss record earlier this year and now has 63.5, and he is only 3.5 sacks away from setting the career sack record.

Junior defensive back Rees Judge (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) is tied for 57th in interceptions at .44 per game. Judge has four interceptions in nine games.

Junior wide receiver Rocco Del Priore (Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh) is 59th in kickoff returns average at 23.62 yards per return. Del Priore has 16 returns for 378 yards and a long of 54.

The Greyhounds travel to rival Muhlenberg College this Saturday, November 12th for a 1:00 p.m. game. This is a Matte Award Game and the season finale for Moravian.
