Moravian Adds Three Assistant Football Coaches

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football coaching staff has added three new members for the 2011 season with Dan Csencsitz becoming the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach, Damien Ciecwisz joining as tight ends coach and Tim Wait '08 returns to the Greyhound staff as an outside linebackers coach.

"We are excited to have Dan, Damien and Tim join the staff for the 2011 season," stated new Greyhound head coach Jeff Pukszyn. "They all bring a wealth of knowledge to the program and for Dan and Tim it is a return to Bethlehem, and we welcome them back."

Csencsitz, who is joining Moravian's staff as a full-time coach, has been an assistant coach at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania for the last three years working with the running backs, tight ends, special teams and strength and conditioning. In 2007, Csencsitz was Moravian's quarterback coach, helping Marc Braxmeier '09 to All-Centennial Conference First Team honors. Csencsitz was a four-year starter at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, setting five Millersville records during his career.

Ciecwisz has spent the last two years working as an assistant offensive line coach at both Emmaus and Bethlehem Catholic High Schools. A 2006 graduate of Delaware Valley, Ciecwisz was a four-year starter for the Aggies and an All-American in 2005. After college, Ciecwisz playing during the inaugural season for the Lehigh Valley Outlawz before going overseas to play a season with the Swarco Raiders Tirol Team in Innsbruck, Austria. Ciecwisz is a security officer for the Northampton Area School District.

Wait returns to Moravian after three years. Last season, Wait was a recruiting assistant for Stanford University after spending two years as an intern on the Cardinal staff. Wait is a 2008 Moravian graduate, and he served as a three-year student assistant coach for the Greyhounds, focusing on the defensive backs as well as film breakdown.

The Greyhounds report to camp on Saturday, August 13th with 110 players to begin practice for the 2011 season opener at Widener University on Saturday, September 3rd.
