LANCASTER, Pa. --- Senior defensive lineman Allen Petros (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty HS) of the Moravian College football team has been named to the Centennial Conference Weekly honor roll for his performance Saturday.
Petros tied a career high with 12 tackles in a 22-14 loss to Gettysburg College at a snow covered Rocco Calvo Field. Petros added four tackles for loss and a sack in the contest, and he has a tackle for loss in all eight games this season.
Petros has at least a half a tackle for loss in 30 of the last 31 games he has played in, and he has been part of a tackle for loss in 33 of 37 career games at Moravian. This season, Petros has 20 and a half tackles for loss to improve his school record total to 62, and he now has 26 and a half career sacks to move into second in school history.
Moravian will close out a three-game home stand with its final home contest of the season versus Juniata College on Saturday, November 5 beginning at 1:00 p.m.at Rocco Calvo Field.
