WASHINGTON, D.C. --- The Moravian University field hockey squad dropped a 2-0 Landmark Conference match at The Catholic University of America Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • The Cardinals opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a goal on a penalty corner
  • The teams played a scoreless second quarter as Catholic led 1-0 at the intermission
  • Neither squad scored in the third period as well
  • Catholic found the cage again early in the fourth quarter to push the advantage to 2-0
