Moravian Falls to Delaware Valley on the Road

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University field hockey squad fell to host Delaware Valley University, 3-1, in non-conference action Saturday evening.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds netted the opening goal as freshman forward/midfielder Samantha Culver netted a goal off a pass from senior forward Sydney Anderson
  • The Aggies knotted the score in the 11th minute to make it 1-1 after 15 minutes of action
  • Delaware Valley added goals in the second and third quarters to finish off the scoring 

Inside the Numbers

  • Culver's goal was the first of her career while Anderson recorded her first assist of the season and tenth of her career
  • Sophomore goalie Maia Machado made four saves in the contest
