BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University field hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision to visiting Susquehanna University in Landmark Conference action on John Makuvek Field Saturday afternoon.
How It Happened
- The squads played a scoreless first quarter
- Susquehanna opened the scoring in the 21st minute with an unassisted goal
- Moravian countered two and a half minutes later when senior defender Lexi Dinsmore blasted in a shot from near the top of the circle on a penalty corner
- The Rivers Hawks scored again with just under four minutes remaining in the first half to take a 2-1 lead into the intermission
- Susquehanna netted the matches' only goal in the third quarter on a penalty stoke
- The River Hawks finished off the scoring with a tally in the fourth quarter

- Dinsmore netted her second goal of the season and in her career
- Sophomore goalie Maia Machado recorded a career-best 17 saves in the match
- Senior Devyn Calas had a defensive save for the Greyhounds, the first of her career
