SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The fourth seeded Moravian University field hockey squad fell to host and top seed Susquehanna University, 2-0, in the 2024 Landmark Conference Semifinals Wednesday evening to end the 2024 season.

How It Happened

• The squads played a scoreless first half
• The Rivers Hawks netted the first goal of the match just over three minutes into the second quarter
• The score remained that way until the fourth period when Susquehanna found the cage again in the 49th minute for the only other goal of the contest

• Sophomore goalie Maia Machado registered four saves for the Greyhounds
• Senior midfielder Sydney Anderson added a defensive save, her second of the year and her career
• The Blue & Grey have played in the Landmark Conference Semifinals in each of the past four seasons, reaching the championship match in 2022
