MADISON, N.J. --- The Moravian College field hockey squad claimed its first Landmark Conference decision of the 2017 season over Drew University Saturday afternoon by a score of 2-0.

The Greyhounds would get four out of their nine first half shots on the cage, but were unable to get one passed the Drew goalkeeper before intermission. The second half remained scoreless until Moravian would get two goals on the scoreboard within two minutes. Sophomore midfielder Olivia Schlofer would deflect in a pass from junior forward Elizabeth Hrehovcik for the 1-0 lead in 53rd minute. Schlofer would then chipped a shot into upper right corner of the cage off of the initial shot from freshman midfielder Erica Heaney in the 54th minute for her second goal of the match and her sixth of the season.

Moravian freshman goalie Ashley Kunsman started in the cage and had four saves in game for her first career solo shutout and the squad's second shutout of the season. The Blue and Grey outshot the Rangers 25-7 and had a 17-2 margin in penalty corners.

The Greyhounds are slated to get back in action on Monday, October 2 when the squad travels King's (Pa.) College in a non-conference contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.
