Greyhounds Ready to Begin Bob Wilkinson Era on August 31 in Maryland

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team is looking forward to the 2018 season beginning on August 31 as Head Coach Bob Wilkinson has 18 letterwinners from last year's 8-5-4 squad as he makes his debut as the Greyhounds' leader.

Leading the group of returnees is senior defender Akinori Mollenthiel, who was on the Landmark All-Conference First Team last fall. Mollenthiel is part of a group of nine seniors for the Hounds this fall.

Coach Wilkinson, Mollenthiel and senior defender Matthew Clayton give their thoughts on the 2018 season in a preview video below.

Moravian's first match is slated for Friday, August 31 when the squad plays Saint Mary's (Md.) College at 4:00 p.m. in the opening day of the Elmer Lord Soccer Classic hosted by Salisbury (Md.) University.
