BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer squad dropped a 2-0 decision to The Catholic University of America in Landmark Conference action on John Makuvek Field Saturday as the Greyhounds celebrated both Senior Day and Homecoming.

The Cardinals would open the scoring in the 14th minute before adding another goal on a penalty kick in the 56th minute.

Moravian sophomore goalie Michael Bone made four saves on the afternoon.

Prior to the contest, the Greyhounds honored their 10 seniors playing in the final career home match. The group includes defender Matthew Clayton, midfielder Brendan Docherty, midfielder Colin Docherty, midfielder David Durski, defender Rocky Fatuova, forward Kenny Fellows, midfielder Armando Gonzalez, defender Michael Guarino, defender Akinori Mollenthiel and defender Brandon Percey.

"We were hoping to come away with the win on Senior Day but a talented Catholic squad stayed strong to the end and we were unable to break them down," stated first-year Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "However, I would like acknowledge a great group of 10 seniors who have worked hard not only this season, but throughout their careers. It has been an honor to coach them this year. We have a big week ahead as we prepare for DeSalles and Goucher."

Moravian is slated to play its final non-conference match of the season on Wednesday, October 24 when the squad heads to DeSales University for a 3:00 p.m. contest.
