HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team took a 2-0 lead early in the second half and made it stand up for a 2-1 win in non-conference action at Centenary (N.J.) University Wednesday afternoon as Hounds' first-year coach Bob Wilkinson earned his first career head coaching victory.

The Greyhounds, now 1-1-1 this fall, jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute when sophomore forward Ethan Blakely connected on a penalty kick, and the Blue and Grey made the lead stick through the rest of the first half. The tally was Blakely's second marker of the season, and it was also his third career goal with two coming against Centenary.

Moravian extended the lead to 2-0 with another penalty kick in the 53rd minute as freshman midfielder Andrew Goodolf scored his first collegiate goal.

The Cyclones would get on the scoreboard in the 74th minute before Greyhounds sophomore goalie Michael Bone finished off the win with a pair of saves.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Saturday, September 8 in a non-conference match at Wilkes University beginning at 2:30 p.m.
