MADISON, N.J. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team dropped its first Landmark Conference match of the season, falling at Drew University, 4-0, Saturday in conference action.

"We thought we played well enough at times in the first half to be tie," noted Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "But Drew showed why they are the defending champs and picked to win the league again this year as they capitalized on a couple mistakes to take a commanding lead. We look forward to be back at Makuvek Field and take on Elizabethtown."

The Rangers would get onto the scoreboard first with a tally in the eighth minute, and that is where the score remained through the first half.

Drew tallied three more times in the second half in the 50th, 63rd and 79th minutes. Moravian's lone shot on goal would come in the 78th minute when sophomore forward Ethan Blakely fired on the net.

Greyhound sophomore goalie Michael Bone recorded three saves in 83 minutes of action while junior keeper Yamil Yunez added one save in the final seven minutes of the contest.

The Hounds, who are 6-5-2 overall and 3-1 in conference action, will return to the pitch on Wednesday, October 17 when the squad hosts Elizabethtown College in a Landmark Conference match beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
