TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College freshman Adrian Condes has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Condes began his collegiate career with a pair of victories to lead the Greyhounds to a 9-0 sweep at Cairn University to start the 2019-20 season. Condes combined with fellow freshman Kieran Pisani for an 8-0 win at second doubles before posting an 8-2 victory at first singles as part of the Hounds' sweep.
"It was great seeing Adrian do so well in his first collegiate tennis match this weekend at Cairn," commented Director of Tennis Aaron Wilf. "We'll certainly look towards him and our other freshmen to make significant contributions this year within our men's program."
The Hounds will not return to the courts until Saturday, September 21 when the team hosts Misericordia University in a non-conference contest beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Hoffman Courts.
