Greyhounds Fall in Tri-Match at DeSales with Muhlenberg

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team dropped a pair non-conference contests in a tri-match at DeSales University Sunday, falling to the host Bulldogs, 7-2, and dropping an 8-1 decision to rival Muhlenberg College.

In the opening match versus DeSales, the Hounds picked up a point at first doubles when freshman Adrian Condes and Justin Szaro earned an 8-5 victory. Freshman Andrew Hozza scored a 6-0, 4-6, 10-8 win at fifth singles for Moravian's other point.

Hozza had the Greyhounds' only point against the Mules with a 6-0, 6-3 singles victory. Hozza and fellow sophomore Neil Guarino nearly pulled out their third doubles match against Muhlenberg, falling by an 8-6 score.

The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Saturday, September 28 when the squad travels to Arcadia University for a non-conference contest beginning at 1:00 p.m.
