BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis team topped visiting the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), 6-3, in non-conference action at Hoffman Courts Tuesday as the Greyhounds recorded their sixth consecutive win.
How It Happened
- The Hounds jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the doubles contests. The Blue Jays earned the opening point of the match with a victory at first doubles. Sophomore Shayaan Farhad and freshman Gavin Labbadia teamed up for an 8-3 victory at second doubles to tie the contest at 1-1 while sophomores Ryan Burke and Matthew Labosky rallied from a 6-1 deficit at third doubles to earn an 8-6 triumph and give the Blue & Grey the lead for good
- Burke was first off the courts in singles action with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at fifth singles while Labbadia made it 4-1 with a 6-1, 6-1 win at fourth singles. Farhad captured the winning team point with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph at first singles. The Blue Jays won the next two contests to finish at second and sixth singles while junior Ronny Pimentel Ferrer finished off the contest with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at third singles
