BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University sophomore Shayaan Farhad and junior Wyatt Marshall have been selected to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team for NCAA Division III schools.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America® honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior or senior and be a starter or significant reserve that has played in 90 percent of the team's contest or started 66 percent of the team's games in 2023-24. Moravian has had 56 Greyhounds named CSC Academic All-Americans®.

Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The CSC Academic All-America® teams will be announced Wednesday, June 5 for men's tennis.

Farhad, a biochemistry major with a 3.63 GPA and minors in Spanish and history, was selected to the 2024 Landmark All-Conference Second Team in both singles and doubles this year after going 9-9 at first singles and 8-8 at first doubles with junior Anthony Ronca. Farhad, who was also the 2023 Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year to go with spots on the All-Conference First Team in singles and Second Team in doubles last spring, has a 19-18 mark at first singles in his two seasons with the Greyhounds. Farhad has made Moravian's Dean's Honors List twice and will be on the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll in 2024.

Marshall, a marketing major with a 3.87GPA and a minor in business management, was named to the 2024 Landmark All-Conference Honorable Mention squad in singles after posting an 8-9 record in singles while playing in both the second and third spots in the line-up this season. Marshall, who made the 2022 All-Conference Second Team in doubles with Ronca, is 27-15 overall in singles action during his career. Marshall has been on Moravian's Dean's Honors List every semester, the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll twice and an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete, and he was inducted into Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society this spring.
