EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis squad topped host Wilkes University, 7-2, in Landmark Conference action Saturday.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds had a 2-1 lead after doubles action as the tandems of juniors Wyatt Marshall and Ronny Pimentel Ferrer won at second doubles and sophomore Ryan Burke and freshman Gavin Labbadia were victorious at third doubles
- Marshall made the lead 3-1 with a 6-2, 6-4 win at third doubles before the Colonels earned a victory at first singles. Junior Anthony Ronca had a 7-5, 6-4 triumph at second singles while Pimentel Ferrer won 6-1, 6-1 at fourth singles to clinch the winning team point. Burke recorded a 6-0, 6-1 win at sixth singles by Labbadia won in straight sets at fifth singles but needed tiebreakers in both sets to finish the match
