BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team set three school records and swam to an 83-83 tie with Wilkes University in Landmark Conference action at Liberty High School's Memorial Pool Friday evening.
How It Happened
- Senior Ashlee Limbacher crushed the school record by over a minute and a half to win the 1,000-yard freestyle in a time of 11:36.24, and she also set the school mark in the 500-yard freestyle, winning in 5:37.56. Limbacher placed second in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:08.47
- Freshman Gabby Blasko broke the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:17.34, and she was the runner-up in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:35.14. Blasko also placed second in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:11.19
- Senior Catie Lovett won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:11.06, and she took first in the 100-yard freestyle in 59.18 seconds
- Senior Sarah Mazzetti took third in the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2:44.32, and she placed third in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:28.78
- Freshman Lydia Konosky was third in the 50-yard freestyle in 30.54 seconds, and she took fourth in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:13.71
- Sophomore Julia Zaprazny placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle in 31.10 seconds, and she finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:12.38
- Lovett, Zaprazny, Mazzetti and Konosky won the 200-yard freestyle relay in 2:02.46 to finish the meet
