Greyhounds Finish Eighth at 2025 Landmark Championships with Six Record Swims on Final Day

LOYOLA, Md. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team finished eighth of ten teams at the 2025 Landmark Conference Championships at the Mangione Aquatic Center at Loyola (Md.) University after the final day of competition in the four-day meet.

How It Happened

  • Senior Catie Lovett swam a school record time of 55.76 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle preliminaries to qualify for the "B" finals. Lovett finished 12th overall and fourth in the "B" final in a time of 56.18 seconds
  • Freshman Gabby Blasko registered a school record time of 2:44.77 in the 200-yard breaststroke prelims to make the "B" final. Blasko had another school record time of 2:42.33 in the "B" final to finish 15th overall in the event
  • Senior Ashlee Limbacher posted a school record time of 18:33.52 in the 1.650-yard freestyle to finish ninth, and her 1,000-yard split time of 11:12.08 is also a new school record
  • The Greyhounds 400-yard freestyle relay team of Limbacher, Lovett, Blasko and Senior Sarah Mazzetti posted a school record time of 3:59.87 to finish eighth
  • Mazzetti swam a time of 3:06.93 in the preliminaries of the 200-yard breaststroke
  • Sophomore Julia Zaprazny recorded a time of 1:07.20 in the 100-yard freestyle prelims
  • Freshman Lydia Konosky posted a PR time of 1:11.55 in the 100-yard freestyle preliminaries
  • Moravian finished the meet with a program record 127 points over the four-day meet
